A WONDERFUL tale of love between two people caught on opposite sides of a war. THIS was a page turner.
I enjoyed the read but would have liked it to have been longer. The ending was a bit abrupt and felt rushed. I still give it a four star due to the fact it was well written.

I like that this is a quick read. If you are looking for character development this may not be the book for you. If you are looking for a sexy story this is a good one.
This was a great book. Only wish it were longer. I am not a fan of novellas, because they are usually rushed and I like things to evolve. But did not pay enough attention when I bought it. Distracted by the cover, maybe. But it was a fun, though quick, read.
The writer is very good at making you feel like you are a part of the novel. You want to be there and experience every moment. The breathless moments shared make you feel a part of the love story. I want to read all of her novels, if this book is any example of what she is capable of. My husband also thanks her for the after affects of reading this book.
There is nothing more enjoyable than a story in which the hero and heroine win regardless of the obstacles put before them. Also, historical novels are always interesting.
